Taif University media students undergo field training at Camel Festival
The University Media Initiative at Taif University is providing field training for media students at the Crown Prince Camel Festival. This program is part of an agreement between the university and the Saudi Camel Federation to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional media requirements.
For the seventh consecutive year, more than 90 students have participated in the initiative, working within the festival's integrated media center. Students gain hands-on experience in television reporting, journalism, photography, and montage by covering camel races and various festival activities.
Dr. Nahes Al-Adyani, a faculty member at Taif University and supervisor of the initiative, noted that the program serves as a model for empowering young talent and converting academic knowledge into professional practice. Many graduates of the program have successfully transitioned into the workforce, with some securing roles within the Saudi Camel Federation's media center and other prominent media institutions.
