Taiji Gate 60th Anniversary Peace Celebration in Taiwan draws 3,000 guests from 30 countries

On 1 August 2026, the Taiji Gate Qigong Health Society marked its 60th anniversary with the "One Heart World, Sustainable Peace" cultural feast at the Taipei International Conference Center. More than 3,000 dignitaries, officials and cultural figures from over 30 nations attended, including former heads of state, Nobel Peace laureate Jerry White, former Lesotho prime minister Pakalitha Mosisili, former Ecuadorian president Rosalía Arteaga Serrano and Austrian royal Sandor Habsburg‑Lothringen.

Taiwanese President Lai Ching‑te, Foreign Minister Lin Chia‑long, Taipei Mayor Jiang Wan‑an and other local leaders presented gifts and commendations. Dr. Hong Daozi, the master of Taiji Gate, received the Global Conscience and Peace Leadership Award and the Humanitarian and Peace Crown Award, becoming the first Taiwanese peace leader honored in this way. The ceremony featured the lighting of a "Peace 60" lantern, cultural performances blending martial arts, dance and music, and a showcase titled "Hundred Trades, Hundred Families" where about a hundred disciples from medicine, technology, construction and other sectors demonstrated the society’s impact.

The event highlighted Taiwan’s cultural diplomacy, promoting peace, conscience awakening and international goodwill through the Taiji Gate’s philosophy of "one heart, one world".
