Tailoring emerges as a key fashion trend for spring and summer

Tailoring is emerging as a central fashion trend for the spring and summer seasons. According to global trend forecasting consultancy WGSN, international runway collections highlight a return to structured silhouettes, drawing inspiration from 1980s styles with defined waists and structured shoulders. This movement, described as ‘neo-uniforms,’ revisits classic office wear like blazers and dress shirts for a new generation of consumers.

In the retail sector, Aldi has introduced affordable options to meet this demand. The retailer is launching Up2Fashion women's tailored trousers in Portugal for under 12 euros. These straight-cut trousers, available in various colors including burgundy, offer a budget-friendly alternative to higher-end brands like Sacoor Brothers. While these economical options may not match the long-term durability of premium brands, they provide a versatile staple for seasonal wardrobes.
