Tainá Militão shares experience of intense postpartum pain

Influencer Tainá Militão has shared her experience of intense postpartum cramping following the birth of her third child, Gabriel, in Madrid. She noted that the pain felt significantly different and more intense than her previous two births, comparing the sensations to labor contractions.

Obstetrician Dr. Paulo Noronha explained that these pains are often related to uterine involution, the process where the uterus contracts to return to its pre-pregnancy size. He noted that women who have had multiple children may experience these contractions more intensely as the uterus has undergone previous cycles of expansion and contraction.
