Taipei 101 hits record 24 billion TWD sales under Chia Yung-chieh
Taipei 101 has achieved record-breaking financial results under the leadership of Chairperson Chia Yung-chieh, marking her second year in the role. In 2025, the shopping center's sales reached approximately 24 billion TWD, making it the top-performing single department store in Taiwan.
The company's revenue growth is driven by three primary business segments: retail, office leasing, and the observatory. Retail sales, bolstered by luxury brands and high-end membership services, accounted for 2.49 billion TWD of the company's 6.636 billion TWD total revenue. The office leasing segment remains a stable foundation, contributing 2.395 billion TWD, with rental rates exceeding the Xinyi District market average by 23.5%.
The observatory attracted over 1.5 million visitors in 2025, generating 772 million TWD in revenue. Chia has announced plans to renovate the observatory experience, with a relaunch expected in the first quarter of 2027. Overall, the company's net profit rose to 2.843 billion TWD in 2025, up from 2.216 billion TWD in 2023.
