Taipei announces major music festivals and live performance series

Taipei is hosting several major music events in 2026, highlighting the city's vibrant live music scene and cultural diversity.

Music Expo Live 2026 in Taipei is scheduled for October 24 and 25 at the Taipei Arena. The event features a diverse lineup of Asian artists, including King & Prince, AiNA THE END, ATEEZ, and NCT WISH. Sho Sakurai will serve as the master of ceremonies for both days.

Additionally, the '2026 Taipei Very Live!' series, part of the 'Trendy Taipei' initiative organized by the Taipei City Government Culture Bureau, will run from August 1 to September 6. This series spans 27 different music venues and includes 78 performances across genres such as jazz, rock, electronic, and folk. The program features international acts, local jazz masters, and community-focused outdoor performances to promote the city's nightlife and live house culture.
