Taipei expands international tourism and MICE marketing in Asia

The Taipei City Government Tourism Bureau is implementing multi-region marketing strategies to promote the city as a premier destination for tourism and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).

In Singapore, Taipei debuted a dedicated pavilion at ITB Asia 2026. The pavilion featured city landmarks such as Taipei 101 and the Taipei Dome to attract international buyers. The initiative successfully engaged over 100 international buyers and garnered interest from major organizations, including IBTM Asia Pacific and the American Psychiatric Association, which is exploring potential future events in Taipei.

In Thailand, the city launched a creative campaign targeting independent travelers. This included a large-scale mural at Bangkok’s GUMP’s Ari Community Space, designed by local illustrator PANPAN YEEYEE, featuring Taipei’s mascot Bravo. The campaign also utilizes outdoor video advertisements in Bangkok focusing on food, religious culture, and urban exploration, alongside interactive travel fortune-telling experiences at tourism fairs in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
