Taipei hosts Pokémon 30th anniversary celebration in Xinyi District

The Pokémon Company, in collaboration with the Taipei City Government, is hosting ‘PokéXciting! in Taipei’ to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The two-day event, held in the Xinyi District, features various activities including Pokémon parades, dance performances, and meet-and-greets.

A major highlight is the ‘PokéXciting! Night Special Stage Show,’ which features a Taipei-exclusive pink-haired Pikachu. The performance combines music, lighting, and dance, drawing large crowds to the Xiangti Avenue stage and surrounding areas.

In addition to live shows, the event includes interactive experiences such as a Pokémon GO stamp rally, where players can collect limited-edition stamps to encounter special Pokémon. Exclusive anniversary merchandise is also available at Pokémon Center Taipei and special retail locations in the Xinyi shopping area.
