Taipei Mayor dismisses Feicui Reservoir Administration head over corruption probe

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an has ordered the dismissal of Lin Yu-yi, the Director of the Feicui Reservoir Administration, following allegations of corruption. The case was initiated by the Taipei City Government's Department of Government Ethics after receiving a report and conducting an internal investigation.

The Taipei District Prosecutors Office directed the Agency Against Corruption to search the Feicui Reservoir Administration and question five individuals, including Lin, who has been named as a defendant in a corruption case. The Agency Against Corruption is currently handling the investigation and has reviewed relevant documents and evidence.

Lin Yu-yi has served in the administration since December 2022 and has a 30-year career in public service, including roles in various municipal and central government departments. The Taipei City Government stated it will support the legal proceedings and uphold the principle of not tolerating wrongdoing.
