Taipei Metro Bannan Line Red Envelope Promotion Draws Commuter Attention

A promotional campaign ran on Taipei Metro’s Bannan (Blue) line starting 3 August, where commuters could find small red envelopes hanging inside train cars. The activity, limited to 888 envelopes, was organized by Fuhua Investment Trust (復華投信) in partnership with Beigang Wude Temple (北港武德宮) to publicise the firm’s active‑managed ETF “Fuhua Global Future 50” (ticker 00409A). News anchor Zhou Tianli (周恬吏) shared a video of herself receiving an envelope, noting the surprise and encouraging others to look up while riding the train.

The promotion aims to raise awareness of the ETF, which targets 50 global companies with growth potential, managed by fund manager Hu Jialing and co‑managed by Wang Wanli and Huang Junrui. Organisers hope the creative giveaway will attract public interest in the fund’s focus on AI trends and global industry transformation.
