Taipei Nuit Blanche 2026 to feature Night Ka Shi theme

The 11th annual Taipei Nuit Blanche urban arts festival is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM on October 31 to 2:00 AM on November 1, 2026. Centered in the Yuanshan area and surrounding neighborhoods, including the Taipei Expo Park and Datong University, this year’s theme is “NIGHT KA SHI,” inspired by the improvisational spirit of traditional Taiwanese street musicians.

The event will feature over 30 art installations and 50 performances spanning theater, dance, percussion, jazz, hip-hop, and street culture. Notable international collaborations include a partnership with the Centre Pompidou’s 104 in Paris, featuring interactive dance works by French choreographer Jann Gallois.

To accommodate the crowds, Taipei will implement traffic controls in the Yuanshan and Yumen Street areas. The Taipei Metro will extend its operating hours until 2:00 AM on November 1, with additional trains running on the Tamsui-Xinyi Line to facilitate dispersal.
