Taipei Open 2026 badminton tournament draws top players
The BWF Taipei Open 2026, a Super 300 event on the World Tour, is being held in Taipei, Taiwan, with a total prize pool of US$240,000 and offering up to 7,000 ranking points to the winner. Top seeds from Chinese Taipei, India, Malaysia and Japan have reached the quarter‑finals, with Indian players notably occupying three spots in the women’s singles draw and Malaysia’s Aaron Chia/Tai and Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan advancing to the men’s and women’s doubles finals respectively.
