Taipei showcases smart mobility and AI innovations

Taipei has unveiled its vision for a sustainable and connected urban future through the Taipei Smart Mobility Pavilion. In collaboration with six industry partners, the city is demonstrating practical applications of AI-powered traffic management, low-carbon transportation, and human-centered road safety.

A central component of this initiative is the Taipei Metro, which was honored with the ITS World Congress Hall of Fame Industry Award in 2026 for its safety, reliability, and efficiency. The city aims to use real-time data and intelligent systems to improve everyday travel and foster inclusivity.

As Taipei prepares to host the 2029 ITS World Congress, the pavilion serves as a platform to showcase how public-private partnerships can transform technology into meaningful urban services.
