Taipei's Tao Zhu Yin Yuan sells for NT$9.4 billion in cash deal

In the second quarter of 2026, the Taipei luxury housing market saw nearly 30 high‑value transactions, driven by capital shifting from a buoyant stock market. The most prominent sale was a 5th‑floor unit (68) in the Tao Zhu Yin Yuan tower, which changed hands for NT$9.4 billion, a price of roughly NT$300 million per ping. The buyer is a 31‑32‑year‑old foreign national with the surname Zhang and the purchase was made without a mortgage. Other recent sales in the building include a 17th‑floor unit sold for NT$11.1 billion at NT$364 million per ping and several lower‑floor units priced near NT$300 million per ping. Analysts note that the surge in luxury condo sales reflects investors moving equity gains into real‑estate assets.
