Taipower Yongfeng Cloud Leopards lose preseason game to Shiga Lakes

The Taipower Yongfeng Cloud Leopards lost 87-97 to Japan's B.League team, Shiga Lakes, in a preseason exhibition game held in Taoyuan. Despite leading 45-41 at halftime, the Cloud Leopards struggled with offensive consistency and defensive control in the paint during the second half.

Malcolm Miller led the Cloud Leopards with 23 points, while new signing Brock Motum scored 21 points against his former team. Other notable contributors included Kenny Chien with 16 points and Gao Jin-wei, who recorded 7 points and 7 assists.

Head coach Henrik Rödl noted that the team has been in training for less than a week and lacks a complete roster, emphasizing the need to refine defensive details. General Manager Yen Hsing-shu mentioned that Humphrey Gabriel will serve as a fourth foreign player on loan from the Taipower basketball team to optimize roster configuration.
