Taito Corporation announces retro arcade event and new online crane game campaign

Taito Corporation has announced several upcoming initiatives involving its retro gaming products and online services.

In collaboration with INH, Taito will host a limited-time event titled “Super Real Arcade Collection PART 2” at Game Center Mikado in Takadanobaba from September 11 to September 27, 2026. The event will feature ten classic titles from Universal and Irem, such as “Lady Bug” and “Undercover Cops,” running on authentic Taito “Egret II” arcade cabinets. This coincides with the upcoming release of the “Arcade Collection PART 2” SD card for the Egret II Mini, scheduled for March 25, 2027, which will bring the total number of available titles for the device to 100.

Additionally, Taito is launching a three-month commercial campaign for its “Taito Online Crane” (Taikure) service. Featuring Taito Ambassador Hinaka Sakai of the idol group Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu, the commercials will air monthly from September through November 2026. To coincide with the campaign, Taito is holding a Silver Week giveaway where players can win signed memorabilia or gift cards through the online crane game platform.
