Taitung hosts Paiwan cultural heritage event in Jinfeng

The Taitung County Government will host the final session of the 2026 ‘Art Comes to My Home’ event on October 3 in Zhengxing Village, Jinfeng Township. The program is designed to showcase cultural heritage and family memories through music and storytelling.

Located at the Gao family courtyard in the Jieda Tribe, the event focuses on the history of the Paiwan people. Family members will share their experiences of returning to their roots, understanding their roles within the tribe, and preserving the legacies left by their elders. The initiative aims to help younger generations connect more deeply with their ethnic culture and family history.
