Taitung to host 2026 South Island Coffee Festival in October

The Taitung County Government will host the ‘2026 South Island Coffee Festival’ on October 24 and 25 at the Wave House Plaza and Square Plaza. Under the theme ‘Brew Your Wild! Mountain and Sea Slow Drinking,’ the event will feature nearly 40 stalls offering coffee, lifestyle products, artisanal crafts, and specialty foods.

The festival is organized into five themed islands: Coffee Island, Soundwave Island, Wild Creation Island, Slow Living Island, and Good Food Island. To promote international exchange, the Singaporean brand luli roasts will participate, sharing Kopi culture and Malaysian specialty coffee alongside Taitung’s local offerings.

Scheduled activities include specialty bean cuppings, Kopi culture sharing, and music and circus performances. The event aims to connect the land and local flavors with the ‘SLOW FOR LIFE’ spirit of Taitung.
