Taiwan Africa Business Association hosts forum to expand African trade
The Taiwan Africa Business Association (TABA), in collaboration with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Kaohsiung Office, hosted the second Africa Forum of 2026 on September 18. During the forum, representatives from South Africa and Nigeria provided insights into their nations' economic development and investment environments. Additionally, TABA discussed potential strategic partnerships, including a memorandum of cooperation with the Nigeria Manufacturing Association and collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines.
The forum also addressed modern industrial challenges, featuring a keynote speech on maintaining corporate competitiveness through artificial intelligence. TABA leadership emphasized the association's commitment to strengthening trade ties between Taiwan and African nations through continuous forums and market promotion activities.
