Taiwan and Singapore AI associations sign cooperation MoU

The Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Association (TAIA) and the Singapore AI Association have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation in the artificial intelligence sector. Signed during Tech Week Singapore 2026, the agreement establishes a framework for technical and market intelligence exchange, AI advisory services, and enterprise and trade exchanges to support small and medium-sized enterprises.

The partnership comes amid strengthening economic ties, as Taiwan became Singapore’s largest goods trading partner in 2025. During the event, the Taipei Pavilion showcased 12 technology companies specializing in areas such as edge computing, cybersecurity, industrial intelligence, and smart-city applications.
