Taiwan and United Kingdom Sign UAV Cooperation MOU at Farnborough

On 27 July, the Taiwan Excellence Drone Overseas Business Alliance (TEDIBOA) participated in the Farnborough Airshow in the United Kingdom and signed a memorandum of understanding with the UK Defence Industry Association (ADS Group). The agreement creates a bilateral platform for UAV research, development and marketing, and sets the groundwork for joint business expansion and investment.

The signing was attended by Zhuang Xiumei, General Manager of Hang Xiang (Hanxiang) Company acting for TEDIBOA, and Kevin Craven, CEO of ADS Group, with the Taiwan ambassador to the UK, Yao Jinxiang, and ADS International Affairs Director Julie Marionneau as witnesses. Zhuang said, “We have absolute confidence that Taiwan can become the safest, most reliable and most manufacturing‑capable strategic partner for the UK aerospace and defence sector in the Asia‑Pacific region.” The alliance, chaired by Cao Jinping, already includes partners in nine countries and fifteen drone organisations and aims to boost Taiwan’s global UAV market presence.
