Taiwan Announces 2026 Summer Music Festivals in Penghu and Taoyuan

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Tourism Bureau will stage the 2026 Penghu Seaside Beach Music Festival from August 21‑23 on Aimen Beach in Penghu. The three‑day event will feature 30 domestic and international bands, including popular Taiwanese acts such as G.U.T.S and icyball, Japanese anime‑song vocalist IKE, and Thailand’s YourMOOD. A preview concert will be held at Taipei’s Red House, and the festival will be accompanied by water‑sports, games, and a craft market.

Separately, the 2026 Taoyuan Pearl Coast International Music Festival will be held on August 1‑2 at Zhuwei Fishing Port in Taoyuan. The pop‑rock group Mango Jump will headline, with additional performances by bands such as Coarse Band and FAAS. Organisers highlighted a lively lineup and a live broadcast on CTV channels. The event also includes the Iron Rose Hot Music Contest finals for campus and community groups.
