Taiwan Chinlian to lead NT$754 million urban renewal in Taipei

Taiwan Chinlian Asset Management has been selected as the preferred applicant for the ‘Wenshan Jing’ public-led urban renewal project in the Wenshan District of Taipei. This marks the company’s first successful bid for a public-led urban renewal project.

The project involves an estimated investment of NT$754 million to construct a residential building consisting of 14 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground. The development will feature 68 residential units on a site of approximately 377 pings, with a total floor area of about 1,700 pings. The completed project is expected to reach an asset value of approximately NT$1.415 billion, with completion targeted for 2033.

Located near Wansheng Street and the Wenshan Forest Park, the site offers proximity to the Roosevelt Road MRT axis. To address the site’s sloping terrain, the company plans to use specialized construction methods to protect surrounding structures. The development aims for Gold-level green building and Silver-level smart building certifications. Additionally, the project includes community benefits such as a 2-meter wide sidewalk and the donation of YouBike rental stations to support low-carbon commuting.
