Taiwan city esports tournaments open registration for 2026 Taipei Cup and Hsinchu Zhuqian Cup

The Taipei City Government Sports Bureau, together with Magic Co., has opened registration for the 2026 Taipei City Cup International Esports Competition. The event runs from 1 August to 30 September 2026, with a total prize pool of NT$1.9 million. It will feature Street Fighter 6 and, for the first time, the League of Legends ARAM mode, culminating in a live finals on 14‑15 November at Westar in Ximending.

The Hsinchu City Government has also launched sign‑ups for the third‑edition Zhuqian Cup Esports Competition. The tournament, which adds Street Fighter 6 to its lineup, offers NT$240,000 in prize money, with the champion receiving NT$120,000. Online qualifiers lead to an offline finals on 23 August at Hsinchu’s Giant City Plaza, accompanied by fan activities and appearances by local gaming creators.
