Taiwan delegation prepares for 2026 Nagoya Asian Games

Taiwan's delegation for the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games held a flag-raising ceremony at the National Sports Training Center. President Lai Ching-te attended the event to present the national flag and delegation flag to the team.

The delegation consists of 740 members, including 482 athletes competing in 34 sports. To enhance support, the medical team has been expanded from 40 to 53 members, and relay station personnel have increased from 13 to 43. President Lai emphasized the government's commitment to providing resources for training and competition as athletes aim for medals and prepare for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
