Taiwan Design Show 2026 to be held in Taoyuan

The 2026 Taiwan Design Show is set to take place in Taoyuan from September 24 to October 11. Under the theme ‘Taoyuan Flow,’ the event features over 700 designers and nearly 50 international design teams from 16 countries, marking one of the largest scales of international exchange for the exhibition.

Key highlights include an immersive light sculpture titled ‘City Mirror’ at the Taoyuan Art Museum, which utilizes water mist, lasers, and ground projections to create a nighttime art experience. Other exhibitions include contemporary calligraphy explorations at the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Museum and family-oriented interactive displays at the Taoyuan Children's Museum.

In a collaborative effort between the Taoyuan City Urban Development Bureau and Evergreen Aviation, retired aviation containers are being repurposed into temporary bus stops. This initiative aims to integrate design into daily urban life while promoting sustainability and material recycling by transforming logistics equipment into functional public spaces and art installations.
