Taiwan Dream Project celebrates 12 years of rural community support
The CTBC Foundation held the “Taiwan Dream Project” achievement sharing session at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. The event brought together over 1,000 participants from 35 dream-building bases across Taiwan to exchange experiences.
Under this year’s “navigation” theme, children explored various learning modules including food, arts, ecology, and movement. The program highlighted the long-term impact of community support, featuring former participants who have returned as volunteers and assistants to mentor younger children in their communities.
CTBC Foundation Chairman Ku Chung-liang stated that the project aims to reduce the pressure on disadvantaged rural families and allow children to pursue their dreams with confidence. The initiative, now in its 12th year, has provided support to over 1.53 million rural children through its various community bases.
