Taiwan hosts major tourism and art exhibitions in Taipei
Taipei is set to host two significant cultural events: the 2026 ITF Taiwan International Travel Fair and the 33rd ART TAIPEI art fair.
The Taiwan Tourism Administration will present the “Taiwan, Let’s Go” national image pavilion at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from November 6 to 9. The exhibition focuses on “vertical landscapes,” using immersive technology to simulate environments ranging from coastal areas to high-altitude cloud seas. The pavilion will feature 56 selected hiking trails, local products from 13 national scenic areas, and various interactive workshops to promote sustainable hiking tourism in preparation for the 2028 World Trails Congress.
Simultaneously, the 33rd ART TAIPEI art fair will feature 127 galleries, including 61 international participants. This year’s theme, “Symbiosis,” explores the relationship between technology, creation, and urban life. Highlights include a significant presence of South Korean galleries, a dedicated Japanese curation zone, and the “Made In Taiwan” newcomer section, which showcases eight emerging local artists supported by the Ministry of Culture.
