Taiwan hosts two coastal music festivals in New Taipei and Yunlin on July 25‑26, 2026
From July 25 to 26, 2026, Taiwan will hold two large‑scale coastal music festivals. The New Taipei River‑Sea Music Season’s Gongliao site in Fulong will feature the Ocean Independent Music Awards finals, a lineup of ten competing bands, a beach EDM party, food stalls and marine‑experience activities. Headliners include the Golden Melody Award‑winning band MATZKA and the rock group Blood‑Meat‑Juice‑Machine.
Meanwhile, Yunlin’s Yun‑West Ocean Music Season at Santiulong Beach will run the same weekend with a “B‑612 Planet” theme inspired by The Little Prince. The program includes concerts by acts such as Power Train, Mei‑Xiu Group and Cosmic Man, as well as a water‑playground, SUP rentals, beach games, marine‑education tours, a cleanup drive, a summer market and specialty foods. Both festivals aim to combine music, tourism and marine‑culture to boost local economies and promote coastal sustainability.
