Taiwan industrial exhibitions launch with focus on AI and smart manufacturing
Major industrial exhibitions, including Taiwan Industry Week 2026 and the Taiwan International Tool and Hardware Exhibition (TiTE x IHT 2026), have commenced in Taiwan, highlighting the region's shift toward advanced manufacturing technologies.
At the TiTE x IHT 2026 opening in Taichung, President Lai Ching-te announced government support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and low-carbon practices. He emphasized that Taiwanese manufacturers must move beyond simple production to co-create value with global partners amidst shifting supply chains and economic fluctuations.
Taiwan Industry Week 2026 in Taipei features over 400 exhibitors showcasing 6,000 products across sectors such as metalworking, industrial safety, and HVAC. A significant focus of this year's event is the infrastructure required for Artificial Intelligence Data Centers (AIDC), specifically thermal management and power solutions. Both events aim to connect traditional manufacturing capabilities with emerging high-tech demands through business matching and international summits.
