Taiwan labor departments host vocational and entrepreneurship showcases

Labor departments in Kaohsiung and Taoyuan are organizing events to promote vocational skills and entrepreneurship.

In Kaohsiung, the Labor Education and Life Center will host the ‘Ambition Without Limits’ exhibition on October 24 at the National Science and Technology Museum. The event features 27 entrepreneurial brands organized into six immersive zones, ranging from aesthetic culture to creative marketing. The showcase aims to demonstrate how participants have transformed ideas into professional brands through workshops and workplace observations.

In Taoyuan, the Labor Bureau will hold the ‘Taoyuan Heritage, Skillful Mastery’ event on October 17 at Fenghe Park. The program honors local skilled talents across six categories, including lacquer design, metal welding, masonry, floral design, nail art, and visual communication. The event seeks to bridge traditional crafts, such as wood carving and bamboo weaving, with modern vocational elements through DIY workshops and professional sharing sessions.
