Taiwan launches Flagship Showcase at Automechanika Frankfurt
Taiwan has launched its ‘Taiwan Flagship Showcase’ at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. The initiative features 324 companies showcasing vehicle components, workshop equipment, and manufacturing services to connect international buyers with Taiwanese suppliers.
Organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA) of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the platform aims to expand its presence at major trade fairs across Europe, the USA, and Japan through 2026 and 2027.
Taiwan exports approximately 90 percent of its automotive part production. In 2025, automotive component exports reached approximately 5.94 billion euros, with the EU serving as the second-largest regional export market at 844 million euros. Germany remains a key destination, ranking fourth among individual export countries with 194 million euros.
