Taiwan People's Party alleges election bribery involving Huang Shih-chieh

The Taiwan People's Party has raised allegations of election bribery involving Huang Shih-chieh, a candidate for Taoyuan Mayor. The party claims that an event organized by the Taoyuan Management Office of the Taiwan Water Resources Agency was used to campaign for Huang by providing meals and egg gift boxes valued at 300 TWD to attendees.

In response, a spokesperson for Huang Shih-chieh's campaign denied the allegations, stating that Huang did not distribute egg gift boxes. The campaign clarified that the agency's event is a long-standing local activity attended by various political figures and should not be politicized or falsely attributed to a single candidate.
