Taiwan real estate market expands amid tech growth and major developer plans
The real estate market in Taiwan is seeing significant activity driven by industrial shifts and major developer expansions. In Kaohsiung, the development of the Xintai 17 Line and its connection to Shiyun Avenue is expected to enhance connectivity between the Nanzi technology hubs—including the TSMC plant—and the Qianjin district. This infrastructure aims to support a growing population of tech and finance professionals attracted to the Asia Pacific Asset Management Center and companies like NVIDIA, Foxconn, and AMD.
Meanwhile, Farthings Construction has announced an ambitious pipeline for 2027, planning to launch five major projects with a total sales value exceeding 91.4 billion TWD. These developments will be spread across Taoyuan, Taishan, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, with a heavy focus on residential projects in Taoyuan’s Sports Park and Guishan areas. The company also noted strong sales performance in its Banqiao, New Taipei City project, which has seen high interest from owner-occupiers.
