Taiwan real estate market focuses on commuting and amenities
Residential real estate discussions in Taiwan are currently focusing on the balance between commuting convenience, price, and lifestyle amenities in various urban districts.
In Taoyuan, the Bade Guangfeng Special Zone and the Danian living circle are highlighted as established commercial hubs. The area features major retailers such as Decathlon and Starbucks, and is set to benefit from the Taoyuan MRT Green Line, specifically stations G04 and G05. Ching He Construction has launched ‘Ching He Deng Feng,’ a 24-story landmark residential project in this district, utilizing earthquake-resistant technology.
In the New Taipei City area, potential homebuyers are weighing options between Dingpu, Ayadong Hospital, and Jiangzicui stations for commuting to Taipei. While Jiangzicui offers mature amenities and convenient access, commuters have raised concerns regarding high property prices and severe overcrowding during peak hours. Experts suggest that while Dingpu offers lower prices, it lacks functional amenities, whereas the Ayadong area provides a middle ground in terms of cost and accessibility.
