Taiwan Tourism Administration launches international travel incentive campaigns

The Taiwan Tourism Administration has introduced new initiatives to boost international tourism, focusing on repeat visitors and regional exploration. One campaign, titled ‘Revisit Taiwan, Double the Fortune!’, offers electronic money prizes to eligible foreign repeat travelers and their first-time companions. Winners can receive up to 8,000 Taiwan dollars (approximately 40,000 yen) in total spending credits. This program is scheduled to run through March 31, 2027.

Additionally, the administration is promoting travel to southern Taiwan through the ‘Check in and Discover Southern Taiwan’ campaign. This initiative provides over $315,000 USD in travel incentives, discounts, and privileges in partnership with EVA Air, Klook, and ezTravel. The campaign aims to encourage independent travelers to visit scenic areas including Siraya, the Southwest Coast, Maolin, and Dapeng Bay, highlighting indigenous culture, natural landscapes, and local gastronomy.

For the corporate sector, a ‘Incentive Travel Attraction Encouragement Program’ is available for travel agencies organizing groups of 30 or more people for stays of at least two nights. To further encourage regional distribution, additional subsidies are being offered for groups staying in areas south of Taichung, Hualien, Taitung, and outlying islands through March 2027.
