Taiwan Youth Ambassadors complete diplomatic mission to Caribbean and New York

A delegation of 24 Taiwan International Youth Ambassadors completed a diplomatic and cultural mission to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, concluding their journey with a visit to the World Taiwan Association Foundation in New York.

During the visit to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from August 26 to 30, 2026, the delegation engaged in cultural performances, basketball exchanges, and courtesy calls with high-ranking officials, including Governor-General Stanley John and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fitzgerald Bramble. The mission emphasized ‘Value Diplomacy,’ focusing on shared principles of democracy and freedom to strengthen bilateral ties.

In New York, the ambassadors shared insights from their travels, noting how the program allowed them to witness Taiwan’s international influence through technology, medicine, and culture firsthand. The delegation highlighted the importance of non-governmental organizations and overseas Taiwanese communities in supporting formal diplomatic efforts and expanding Taiwan’s global presence.
