Taiwan youth badminton and tennis championships conclude with multiple titles

The 2026 second National Youth Badminton Championships (U19) were held on July 18 in Taiwan. In the women's singles final, top seed Su Hsiao‑ting defeated teammate Huang Hsin‑yu 21‑16, 21‑8 to retain her title. The women's doubles crown went to the pair Sun Liang‑qing and Khan Zhen, who beat Chen Yu‑xi and Chen Hsin‑tong 21‑15, 21‑10. In mixed doubles, the top‑seeded duo Sun Liang‑qing/Lin Sheng‑ming claimed the title after their opponents Liu Fu‑hsuan and Shi Yu‑juan withdrew due to injury.

The second edition of the Wen‑shu Cup under‑18 C‑class tennis tournament also wrapped up on July 18‑19. Wang Yu‑chi of New Taipei High School secured the girls' singles title, while Li Chih‑yan finished runner‑up. In the boys' singles, Chiu Te‑lu from Hsin‑chu triumphed over Tang Ying‑hao, with Yang Rong‑guang and Liu Yi‑ming sharing third place.
