Taiwanese pitchers Lin Kai-wei and Lin Yu-min seek international opportunities

Taiwanese baseball players Lin Kai-wei and Lin Yu-min are both pursuing opportunities to play in major international leagues following successful seasons.

Lin Kai-wei, a pitcher for the CPBL champion Wei Chuan Dragons, has officially applied for free agency to play abroad. After previously reaching the Double-A level with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Lin returned to Taiwan and became a key closer for the Dragons. He reported reaching speeds of 155 km/h this season and expressed a desire to prove his ability on a global stage, noting that the CPBL provides a strong environment for development. He remains open to both Major League Baseball and Nippon Professional Baseball.

Meanwhile, left-handed pitcher Lin Yu-min, currently within the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, is preparing for a Major League challenge next year. After competing in Triple-A for the Reno Aces, where he gained significant experience and increased his physical strength by approximately 7 kg, Lin aims to continue improving his velocity and muscle mass. He expressed confidence in his ability to compete at the highest level after facing MLB players during rehabilitation assignments in Triple-A.
