Taiwanese police provide assistance to citizens in various emergencies

Police officers in Taiwan have provided assistance to several citizens facing difficulties in different regions.

In Pingtung County, officers from the Fangliao Precinct assisted a man whose vehicle became stuck on a rugged mountain road in the Dahan Forest Road area. After the man hiked down the mountain, he realized his house keys were locked inside the vehicle. Officers drove a patrol car back up the mountain to help him retrieve the keys and escorted him safely back down.

In Taitung County, officers from the Zhongxing Precinct responded to a report of an elderly man in his 90s lying by the roadside feeling unwell. After emergency services confirmed his vital signs were stable, police escorted him home to ensure his safety. Additionally, officers from the Guanshan Precinct assisted a patient who had finished medical treatment at Guanshan Tzu Chi Hospital but lacked sufficient funds for transportation. To prevent the individual from having to walk a long distance to Chishang, officers provided a ride to his residence.
