Taiwanese shopping malls launch major anniversary sales campaigns

Major shopping mall operators in Taiwan are launching large-scale anniversary sales events to capitalize on the fourth-quarter retail peak and rising consumer sentiment.

iFG Far Eastern Square has commenced its anniversary celebrations across three locations in Xizhi, Taichung, and Hsinchu. The group aims for a combined revenue of 350 million TWD from these events, targeting a 5% growth compared to last year. The company reported that its cumulative revenue through September had already reached 75% of its 2026 annual target. Promotions include membership lucky draws, brand collaborations, and themed events such as a Winnie the Pooh exhibition in Taichung.

Global Mall, an investment of Kuan De, is also launching anniversary promotions across eight stores nationwide. The retailer expects double-digit year-on-year growth during the period, driven by exclusive products from 20 major brands spanning electronics, fashion, and cosmetics. The campaign includes specialized offerings at station-based locations like Nangang and Banqiao, alongside digital promotions through Global Mall Online to capture the growing e-commerce market.
