Taiwan's NTU Hospital and Chung Shan Medical University announce new senior leaders

National Taiwan University Hospital appointed three new vice presidents: surgeon Chen Jin‑Xing, nursing director Chen Jia‑Hui and Hsinchu campus deputy dean Tan Qing‑Ding. Chen Jia‑Hui, the first nurse vice president, is noted for improving nurse recruitment and winning a national research award. Chen Jin‑Xing, a lung‑cancer specialist, will strengthen clinical quality and international cooperation. Tan Qing‑Ding will accelerate smart‑hospital initiatives, including robotics and HIMSS level‑7 certification.

Chung Shan Medical University in Taichung installed Lin Jun‑Zhe as its 16th president. Lin, a gastroenterology specialist and alumnus, outlined five strategic directions: talent‑led navigation, lean governance, consensus building, research excellence, and responsibility implementation. He aims to enhance international competitiveness, deepen interdisciplinary collaboration, and expand the university's societal impact.

Both institutions emphasized continued improvement of medical education, research, and patient care under their new leadership.
