Taiwo Olonisakin joins A.C. Mestre on loan

A.C. Mestre has officially announced the loan signing of Nigerian striker Taiwo Hamid Olonisakin from Dolomiti Bellunesi.

Olonisakin, born in 1999, joins Mestre following a successful period with Dolomiti Bellunesi, where he helped the team achieve promotion from Serie D to Serie C. During the 2024/25 season, he recorded 37 appearances, 6 goals, and 9 assists. He also gained professional experience playing 31 matches in Serie C, scoring two goals.

Standing 1.83 meters tall, the right-footed attacker is versatile, capable of playing as a central striker or as a winger on either flank. His playing style is characterized by speed, acceleration, and the ability to exploit depth. He previously played for several Serie D clubs, including Este, Luparense, Campodarsego, and Bassano.
