Taiz Axis urged to secure Jabal Harad to counter Houthi presence

Journalist Salim al-Maamari has launched a campaign calling on the Taiz Axis Command and the Fourth Mountain Brigade to provide military support to local fighters in the Al-Alqama front. Al-Maamari emphasizes the strategic importance of Jabal Harad in the Jabal Jardad - Bani Omar region, describing it as the “key to the battle.”

According to the reports, controlling Jabal Harad would allow forces to overlook the Al-Wazi'iyah and Sharira areas, potentially ending the Houthi presence in Sharira, Khabat Bani Omar, and Al-Zarifa. Al-Maamari notes that local residents are currently fighting with only personal weapons and urgently require medium and heavy weaponry to secure the mountain and gain fire control over Houthi positions located between Jabal Harad and the parallel Jabal Numan.
