Taiz leaders call for military reinforcement and welcome pardoned individuals
In Taiz, Yemen, local security and tribal leaders held a large gathering in the At-Ta'ziyah district to address recent field and political developments. Military and local officials, including Major General Abdulkarim al-Sabri, called for increased community support and the reinforcement of military fronts with personnel and equipment to ensure stability and defense.
Separately, the acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed al-Musawa, received 18 individuals released under a general presidential pardon. These individuals had previously been recruited into mobilizations on Zuqar Island. Al-Musawa stated that the pardon aims to address the consequences of previous stages and encourage social cohesion by allowing those misled to return to their families and participate in public life.
