Taiz officials meet to strengthen state presence in local districts

Dr. Abdulqawi al-Mikhlafi, the First Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate, has held a series of meetings with local authorities in several districts to strengthen state presence and administrative coordination.

In Shar'ab al-Salam and Shar'ab al-Runa, al-Mikhlafi met with district leadership to discuss current developments and enhance cooperation aimed at restoring state institutions. The discussions focused on national unity, supporting security forces, and preparing for upcoming developmental and political requirements.

During a visit to Same' District, al-Mikhlafi called for increased readiness and improved service delivery. He emphasized the need to prioritize education, health, and infrastructure, while urging better coordination between local authorities, military leaders, and security agencies. District officials noted that while much of the area is under local government control, geographic challenges and limited resources hinder revenue collection and development.
