Taiz political parties and authorities call for military mobilization

Political parties and local authorities in Taiz, Yemen, have called for a unified military and political effort to accelerate the liberation of state institutions and end Houthi militia control. In a joint political statement, parties emphasized that the battle to restore the state is a “unifying national battle,” warning that the militia's pursuit of an Iranian-backed agenda threatens international maritime security and global energy supply chains.

In the Al-Masrakh district, local authorities and community components have declared a general mobilization to support the armed forces. During an inspection visit, officials met with local leaders and tribal figures to discuss mechanisms for unifying community efforts to reinforce combat fronts. Officials highlighted the need for organized mobilization to support troops and ensure the readiness of the province to complete the liberation process.
