Taiz teacher training program concludes with international certifications
A ceremony was held in Taiz to mark the conclusion of the International Professional Teaching Certificates (IPTC) project. The program provided intensive six-month training to 70 teachers in the Taiz governorate to improve the quality of public education and develop pedagogical skills.
This initiative is part of a larger strategic project aimed at qualifying 200 teachers across Yemen, including 70 in Aden and 60 in Hadramaut. The project is funded through a partnership between the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the Hayel Saeed Anam Group & Co.
Implementation is being carried out by King Saud University, specifically the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consultative Studies, in coordination with the Human Development Program (HDP) and under the supervision of the Yemeni Ministry of Education. The training focused on digital learning technologies, higher-order thinking skills, and inclusive education strategies for students with special needs.
