Tajik President Emomali Rahmon Opens New Ministry of Justice Building

On July 14‑15, 2026, President Emomali Rahmon and Mayor Rustam Emomali inaugurated the new headquarters of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Justice in the Ismoili Somoni district of Dushanbe. The complex, built in two sections, houses the ministry’s leadership offices, a public reception centre, a 500‑seat main conference hall, a 140‑seat assembly hall, seven 40‑seat meeting rooms, a library, archive, computer and video‑conferencing rooms, a printing office, cafeteria, storage, a fitness room and fire‑safety facilities.

Constructed on the President’s instructions, the building features modern technical equipment and digital technologies intended to improve working conditions, streamline justice administration and support ongoing reforms and digitisation of public services. The inauguration coincides with preparations for the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence and reflects the government’s broader programme to upgrade state infrastructure and enhance governance.
