TAKAD Awards launches preparatory mission in Douala for 2026 Gabon edition

The 7th edition of The African Kotas Awards Distinctions (TAKAD) has officially launched its preparatory phase in Douala, Cameroon. Led by promoter Hercule Nze Souala, the mission aims to build partnerships and mobilize stakeholders ahead of the main event scheduled for December 19, 2026, in Libreville, Gabon.

Operating under the theme ‘Africa, a continent of the future and opportunities for humanity,’ the platform seeks to move beyond traditional award ceremonies to function as a Pan-African economic engine. Organizers intend to connect entrepreneurs, artists, innovators, and decision-makers to transform cultural visibility into tangible business opportunities within the integrated African market.

The upcoming Libreville event expects over 10,000 participants and the involvement of 80 service providers. The preparatory mission in Douala includes networking sessions and press conferences to engage local institutions, media, and economic actors, fostering a continental network that spans from Mali and Burkina Faso to Côte d'Ivoire and Congo.
